Tere Naal Ho Gaya Love is a romantic comedy directed by Mandeep Kumar Riteish Deshmukh star opposite Genelia D’Souza in the lead roles.

In the film Viren (Ritesh Deshmukh) has played a young boy and very simple dream of being a rich man one day and even Mini (Genelia D’Souza) has played a girl. Later, the boy takes the girl and as time passes, he comes to realize he is in love with the girl. The film then turns to be a love story.

With Ek Deewana Tha Gautham Menon is trying to remake his own Tamil movie, Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa but to make it look different the director has decided to change the casting and the climax of the movie. Hence, in some ways Ek Deewana Tha is very different from the Tamil version and it could be that people here would love the Hindi version better than the Tamil version.
